OUR STORY
Armor of Christ, AOC represents a lifestyle. We are an apparel company with a mission to impact lives by providing quality clothing that serves as a constant reminder of whose we are and what we stand for. We exist to encourage others to embrace the true teachings and example of Christ.
Our vision is to provide quality clothing for those that identify with living a set apart lifestyle that honors our Savior and King. We are a company that is unapologetic, focused and committed to its vision. Calling those that identify with the true teachings of Christ to put on the spiritual armor that enabled Him to change the world.
AOC represents unwavering faith and commitment to sharing truth. The company embodies the devoted and bold faith that young King David demonstrated when facing Goliath in 1 Samuel 17.
When setting out to fulfill our vision we were immediately met with resistance. Our Goliath came in the form of the giant sports apparel company Under Armour®. Much like David there were those among us that viewed Under Armour® as an insurmountable Goliath. But what our attorneys, friends and family members as well as Under Armour® did not realize was the God of Israel was going before us and we truly understood that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4
We understood that Under Armour® was conducting business within the legal parameters of the law. But more importantly we understood that there was a much higher law working on our behalf. One that gives a steadfast spirit and unwavering heart to those He calls.
The conventional tactics of tying up AOC’s right to register and use the word “Armor” in our company name through lengthy and expensive court proceedings would not work as they would find out.
Three years later we were still there. Standing without wavering and committed to our vision.
Our three-year court battle included multiple offers to persuade us to exchange the vision for money. The offer started at $6000, $15,000, $60,000 and ultimately $10,000,000. Yes, that is correct. $10,000,000 to change the name that was given to us by the Most High. But from the very beginning it was understood that AOC was devoted to the Most High God and we were not the owners but stewards and could not be bought or sell what we had been entrusted with.
AOC holds no ill feelings towards the company Under Armour®.
We believe the battle provided the perfect opportunity for AOC to lead by example. It was also necessary for solidifying our faith in our calling according to James 1:2
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
In hindsight we understand that the purpose of our experience
with Under Armour® served the same purpose as Pharaoh’s according to Romans 9:17
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
Our experience and actions are the hallmark of our company. Standing strong in one’s beliefs in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds and temptation.
We hope our story inspires you to take a stand for your

We hope our clothing line will serve as a constant reminder that we’ve been called to a lifestyle and not a religion and that regardless of what this world may throw at us, “that in all these things you are more than a conqueror through Him that loves you”.
